A major European bank needed to establish its finance and risk data solution and strategy following the failure of an expensive, multiyear program. BCG prepared an overarching technical solution and developed a roadmap for execution through use-case prioritization to ensure alignment with the board of directors and joint supervisory team. Our experts also delineated roles and responsibilities across subsidiaries and addressed legal challenges.
A large European bank uncovered severe regulatory vulnerabilities in the data infrastructure that supported its credit chain. BCG experts worked with the bank to develop a comprehensive five-year action plan, outlining structural and tactical actions to take. This encompassed more than 250 detailed actions, including establishing both a new credit chain governance framework and a redesigned data architecture.
